Now, I didn't hear what was said, but after so long Maine ought to know when Delta's being stupid, that is the time to talk him out of plans based on faulty assumptions, not indulge his self-destructive whims.

Broken noses are usually treated with ice and pain relief. Occasionally there is misalignment of the bones and cartiledge, which is easily fixed in a clincal setting -a doctor's office, not a hospital. Those need to be packed for a few days afterwards.

Rarely, there will be a pool of blood that needs to be drained. Sometimes it heals crooked and you have a hard time breathing until you get it fixed. But mostly it's painful and they can do nothing.

People get stressed. Their heart doesn't pump like it should. Blood pools and makes it swell. Then they get better. It mostly happens to old ladies with dead families.
